And that someone has been me! Now I know ALL my faithful readers (hee hee hee) are thinking to themselves, what the hell... did Kerri go and get herself a life or something, she hasn't blogged in over a week.. To answer your question, no Kerri hasn't become all of a sudden popular or anything, infact quite the opposite, Kerri's life has been more boring than usual. Actually I shouldn't say that either, it just seems that way the older I get. Harley won't even hang out with me, the new Knitty sucks and Tony and Laura are getting married in 32 days, it's crazy! I have 32 days left to steal her hubby... kidding... but I do have to get shoes!!! Ummmm, what else is new in Ker-Bear's world... OMG! I found my first gray hair a few days ago... Scary shit! See I have some wrinkles which don't bother me, I actually like the laugh lines... But gray f***'in hair, I actaully cried, Then got in the jeep and flew into Kemptville for hair dye, got home dyed it, and then got a lil' crazy with the thinning, and wound up with half the hair I started with... all the while keeping my length... CAN YOU SAY MULLET?!?!?! But anyway, I have nothing to really post about.
Oh other than I have to work Wednesday night till 9-ish... so no soccer game this time! But I can just head on up to your place after workies, and we can have some drinks before we head out! I'm excited tio see ya Kells, it seems like it's been a while! Anyway fo' now, I have to get these white strips off my toothies and maybe make my way down stairs for the first time today! Yeah, that's right, If there is one thing I am it is a bad person, I was told this just now tonight by a close friend that shall remain nameless. Now before I go to lick clean my emotional wounds. I must tell you, however unprovoked it may be.. it is slightly true... But when you say hussy, it kind of takes away my cuteness level. YES.. tis true in the past I have done things that have been less then classy, totally non-respectable and to use a word I heard a few times tonight... "Trampy". I know.. Now lets scrape those dropped jaws off the floor.. I AM NOT PERFECT! I have never been perfect, I have tried though, and always fail miserably. Infact anyone who thinks I have it all goin' on is terribly wrong. But one thing about my life, I am happy. I know you are thinking, but how could one be happy as a "hussy" ... I honestly don't know, but it has worked for me in the past, quite well infact. Now as she may not have noticed I haven't let the old "slut" outta the bag in a LONG time (slut bag.. tee hee hee) So why bother to label me now. Wait, oh my god, I think I understand it ... I wanted to take 5 mins, out of a conversation and talk about myself, RATHER then spending the whole time listening to things that I don't care about. And if I want to do something it should be my choice, and not someone else's. Had I asked for advice, it could be a different story... This is why I hate girls as friends... (Kelly you don't count, you are an anomaly, you in a way keep me sane) But what I can't believe is I took it... I chugged this back like it was pepto. That's what I am mostly upset with, I couldn't stand up for myself, or even think of a point to make. So this is why I find myself sitting here in a blinding rage feeling sick to my stomach... but it's not directed at the friend who so cruely attacked my life style, but rather at myself for rolling over and taking it just one more time. So here I will sit for a while contemplating on setting the wanton woman in me free... which maybe I should do.. I apparently have little-to-no self respect. But I am also wondering what 20-something uses the word Hussy? If you'd like to insult me, here are some words I prefer...
Temptress, adulteress, fornicatress, loose woman, strumpet, and/or trollop... there are a few more, but hussy is just so matronily.
Anyway, now that that is out, I feel a bit better. Now I have a mission, never to put up with shit agian... but now I have some work to do, as I just got my new assignment in the mail, it's called "trouble"... from the institute of childrens lit. which has made it possible for me to be slutty and write childrens stories. Life's kinda funny like that I guess. But anyway, begining tomorrow I will start to blog my story.. the one we were talking about at the bar. I kind of wanted it to go unread till I had a editied copy in my hand, but meh... So Kel you shall be the first person ( that I actually know) that will read this... I'm kind of excited. Creepiest thing EVER! Okay, not really the creepiest thing ever but it totally gave me the willies for a few seconds. I was at the Experimental farms a couple days ago, and I took some pictures. Okay so some time this morning I realized that I, Queen of EVERYTHING had never once flown a kite in her entire life. I guess I was never much interested in playing outside unless it involved water. but anyway, I got thinking what kind of 20-something woman has never flown a kite... it just seemed wrong. So off to Kemptville I went in search of a kite. I found one... a pretty one, A CHEAP ONE! Any way I am happy to report that I tried flying a kite, and I wasn't missing out on anything!

So today which I titled "The Greatest Hangover Day Ever" I got a suprise visit from Bev and Lauren, I haven't seen Bev in nearly a year, and I never had the delight of meeting Lauren, whom is quite possibly the cutest little redhead around. So we (Julie, Bev, Lauren and Myself) Spent the afternoon outside running around the yard and taking pictures. I was alot of fun to have a little kid around for the day.. She's like my mini me, she was following me around and we were both dressed in jeans black shirt and red hair in piggietails.
By the way Kel.. if you decide not to go to Robbie's next weekend, and I don't go to Joey's, Bev and Julie, Laura and everyone are going to Brockville to see Ransom...

SO Last night on very short notice Ken and I decided to suprise mumsie but taking her to this Neil Diamond Tribute show in Spencerville at the Legion... Now I love Neil Diamond as does Ken, and I must admit this guy was not that great, he was good, looked NOTHING like him and it would have been better WITHOUT the speaking parts. But it was pretty good after 6 or 9 beers. I wish I had've known sooner Kel, you could have come too and I would have had some one to laugh my ass off with. BTW now Ken wants to be a Wayne Newton Impersonator (HOW FUNNY WOULD THAT BE??)

Look out!, there is a thief in this household... not a thief of expensive items, knicknacks, money and the like... NO IT IS MUCH MORE SERIOUS! The devil came into my house this morning, tiptoed into my kitchen, opened up the fridge door, and stole the most important thing to me.. My fantastic lunch, I was drunk at 2am, from hanging out with the ken, came home, and I thought to myself, I'm going to be hung over in the morning so I will make my lunch now, as to save myself time, so I can sleep longer, So I made a beautiful lunch complete with all the trimmings including a piece of coffee cake with caramel sauce on the side, a snack for mid shift and an amazingly perfectly stacked turkey and swiss on rye sandwich, it was just wonderful... I went to bed feeling proud that I could create such a feast. So imagine my dismay when I went to grab breakfast this morning and found that the devil had been hard at work the night before... So then I was pissed... I have to get the jerkhead back.. but how... I will begin by putting him on warning for a swift kick to the ass, but that is just not enough, I must make him pay!

OH SILVERCHAIR! Imagine a band that named themselves after a C.S. Lewis Masterpiece singing about sucide and hatred... My god I used to love this band sooo much, they had that whole, I am a teenager (nobody understands my bullshit) attitude. And you know what, I think part of me loved them so much because they were the same age as me, or perhaps it was the name, that made me think of my childhood, OR maybe it was the fact that thier first album was called FROGSTOMP, and we all know how much I hate frogs. What ever it was I am happy for it, they truly were a fantastic band to my angry teenage ears and I thank them for it. What a beautiful easter day, although still sick, I decided to spend the day with Harley at the lake, fishing and she was duck hunting. Actually the lake is some swamp in the back field and when I say fishing I mean throwing rocks, BUT Harley did do some duck hunting. As you can tell that is how I spent pretty much my entire weekend... YAWN! And I believe next weekend I have to work the entire thing, but there is always the one after that, and thank god because I need a party. When a dog is becoming the only friend you hang out with there is a problem. Also I just spent like 30 bucks over at "KITTY PLANET" on some collars for my Princess Cleo. I swear Laura and Julie are right, I am turning into some strange old lady... or worse DIXIE... (tee hee hee) Anyways, have to have dinner with the fam. and that chick that my brother married... EWWWW! I swear she is getting dumber by the day. Perhaps a self help tape would help the Pete... OH IF WISHES WERE FISHES...

Oh my girls are lovin' today! They are all being so wonderfully lazy, they haven't even attempted to chase each other around the yard at all. And they all have that sunnyday sleep cast about them. I think at one point I even heard Rogue ask Cleo for some lemonade...

MY GOD! I can't believe I am still pissed about the jerks at help desk... I'm sorry, but when you call a help desk, usually you need help because you have no idea what you are doing... And then the assface on the other end makes you feel stupid because he can.. OK you know what, I have NO IDEA whatsoever what TSP does, or how to turn one on, so that must make me the dumbest girl on the planet... Quick, grab me a helmet so I can't hurt myself, and grab me a copy of GO DOG GO so I can brush up on my reading!!! I can not believe the jerks they get to run those phones, and the sad thing, they only know what they are doing because they have a manual sitting infront of them. On a happier note, I went for a small short raod trip today, through Kemptville, into Merrickville, and Smithfalls and finally Perth for some ice cream... Okay, As you can see in the first set of my lips, I totally have a super full upper lip, I swear I do!... but when I smile where does it go???? It like tucks it's self up or something, freakin' weird I tells ya... freakin' weird... so my new goal is to get a less frightening gummy smile. I don't mind the teeth showing, but since I got the ol' tracks taken away it just looks odd... I think I maybe did it for nine years with the braces on because of comfort... now it is instinct.

Okay, anyone that really knows me, should know that I want to be a Stand Up Comedian... They also know that the only thing I am is a Stand Up Jackass... So I am trying to figure out a way that I could be a comedian, and not have to be funny (with out subjecting myself to being a lousy prop comic, or worse appear in a National Lampoon's film... they were only funy when Chevy Chase was the star) So here is my plan... All I need to do is get the proper timing and do political humour... It can't fail. Because if nobody gets it, they'll still laugh since they don't want thier good buddy Chuck sitting next to them to know that they have NO IDEA at all what I am talking about. (Trust me my brother does this all the time, as much as I love the guy he doesn't know George Bush from freakin' Brian Tobin, but if he is watching the comedy channel with me and they crack a joke about Brian Tobin, he'll look around the room, and check to make sure it was funny before he's rolling on the floor in his forced fit of laughter. So sometimes, I laugh for no reason to test it... I do get joy out of the smallest things) And I mean look at Dennis Miller, the guy was great on SNL but dude have you seen his show.. comeon... SNORE... A freakin' depends comercial is funnier than that guy, and yet, he is super rich and famous... as well as the troop from Royal Canadian Air Farce, hell I could dress up as a sargent and shoot a freakin' dinner out of a cannon at a picture of some dickhead political figure too, but I have WAY too much respect for food to waste it on such crappy comedy. Now one group that got it right were the geniuses behind This Hour Has 22 Minutes, that show has got it all, skits that are funny, current events... Oh and comics that actually do good impressions! There is nothing worse then someone on a stage doing a bad impression... and we're not talking doing it poorly on purpose either, some of these guys actually think they are great, I saw one that did a Jack Nicolson that was terrible, and then turned around to do an equally bad Christian Slater... (YES They sort of sound the same now shut up and get in the line up with the other million comedians that have used that one!!!) ARRRGHH
Anyway, yes, insultive political humor, that is where the fame is...

This first one is called Raisin, it's pretty, but I have a feeling it just looks dark because the picture.

The grape is fantastic!

Okay, so when I hopped on the scale this morning (I do it every two weeks) I was down quite abit... and when I say "quite abit" I mean ALOT, so it put me in the mood to look at dresses for Keller's day, here are the ones that I just love.
I saved the best for last, so if you want to see them in order you have to scroll down then up. My #1 pick! Is that last one, with the halter neckline is amazing. I totally love it, and I switched the color to "Wine" and it was even better (it's clairet now, which is quite red I find.) But picture that with gloves, simple up-do and a pretty bracelet, it would be smashing!
Now the blue one with the bow is really nice too, it's simple, and not sparkly at all, but it really caught my eye, so picture that all in right colour (if you want to see it, it's pink with a black bow on the site)
I like the next one also, but not as much as the first. It's very pretty and I think it would be quite flattering.
And the first one here with the chiffon upper is insanely classy, and I think it could work for the fall quite nicely, it just looks warm, I guess that's because it's not skinny strappy/strap-less. And I have a feeling you would have to be a toothpick to wear it, still though, it would look great in my closet. Stil though, I am leaning toward that halter one. Anyway, let me know how it goes tomorrow (I think you said it was tomorrow that you go with Colleen) If you see this before, if Colleen picks a dress You should get the name of the designer, that way we can find out if they have a website so I can see it. Oh God! I am way too excited today!!! This is going to be so much fun! And also if she finds a dress that she loves, but it isn't Alfred Angelo, then we can still try to get the same designer, so the colours are still matching. I have to find AT LEAST one person, I want to go bad enough I am willing to pay for thier ticket, and we'll see about transportation as well. The only thing is where I want to see them. I want to go to the Gorge... I have to go to the Gorge... It looks so beautiful, and peaceful, and it would make for a fantastic trip, and perhaps the perfect weekend getaway for an october bride??? (hint hint) And I figure since I doubt the dominican trip will be do-able this year, we should at least do something... I could be wrong though. I'll post a picture of the gorge, I'll tell ya it looks like it beats the hell out of seeing Trooper (whom I love) In North Augusta.

OK.. Today at work, no word of a lie, some woman said this to me... "Are you a model or something, because you are so pretty, with your hair and your makeup is flawless, and your teeth are so white" I was all like WTF?!?! That is the silliest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. But also a really nice compliment.. see when I got thinking about it, the first thing she DIDN'T notice was my plump-ness. But I thought what a nice thing to say to someone you have never seen before in your life. Talk about, good friends, good tunes, good eats... all around it was a good night. Which began at the stumble inn, and finished with me standing over the kitchen sink shoving 4... yup, that's right 4 timmy's donuts in my mouth before going to bed. It was a fun time, we went and saw Ambush at the South Mountian Ag. Hall. The only thing that would have made it better was if Kel had ben there. Ok, in a few short hours these will be gone... I'm super excited-happy-sad-nervous... What if it is really painful (thanks to Julie for putting that idear in my head).. Then what if my teeth are stained around the brackets? I mean it has been 9 years of coffee and smoking. Also, what will I scratch my tounge on when it gets itchy... It was like the most enjoyable thing in the world to do. What if I look like Peter Rabbit, or worse Julia Roberts, I could be all teeth and just not know it. 50% of them have been covered for the past 9 years What if I can't whistle with out them, do you remember how hard it was for me to re-learn how to whistle after my second surgery?? I remember sitting on the hood of my car at gallop canal with Matt and Brian and a bottle of rum and they were trying to teach me, it took alot of months, before I was finally able to whistle agian. Now to my biggest fear, what if my teeth really are no longer attached and the braces are the only thing holding them in place? And last night I had a dream that under the brackets my teeth were rotten and I never knew it till they came off. Ooohhh, so nerve wracking... Anyway, I have to go and have some lunch before I get ready to go... Countdown to braces off is 3 hours eep!
